Wake up You Are Not Alone.

Have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong be it with work, family, social or life as it is? You feel that no matter what you do, negative elements revolve around you and the only way to cure it on a short term basis is to eat and shop till you drop?

If you have experienced this sticky situation at any point of time here are some tips that may be of use to you;

  1. Always remember that even the elite and most successful individuals occasionally have bad days. BUT, they have learned to suppress the negative emotions and focus on what's more important; which is the POSITIVE ASPECTS in their lives. Life is short enough...why waste any precious time that we have here by being unhappy.
  2. Never fill your head with negative comments. Build up your self confidence by instilling a positive mindset in yourself.
  3. I find it a bit theatrical and over the top if someone has to repeat in front of the mirror "I am confident, I am confident, I am confident" every morning Just to keep myself going. But.. having said that, I do agree that thinking on how great your day will be would be an added advantage to oneself. For eg. if you think Monday blues, you're not gonna get anything but exactly that!
  4. It’s important to keep working at your confidence. Don’t expect everything to change at once. Remember, you are in control of what you think, and what you think influences how you feel. Think confident thoughts and you’ll start to feel confident too.
  5. Don't be dragged down by negative people around you - their opinions will rub off. Make sure you surround yourself by others who keep you positive.
  6. Remember what your end goal is and what it means to you to achieve that - and use this to keep you going.
The Above Methods are purely a simple start to ULTIMATELY create a new YOU with a New Mindset. Positive thinking can only lead to success. Now I'm not asking anyone to aim for the sky, because you need to walk before you can run. Success, confidence, self esteem and these attributes do not come overnight. Never rush it, and take everyday as a challenge and move up step by step.

The other in-depth tips that I would suggest here are:
  1. Always have an outlet for frustrations. Ever got the idea that having a boyfriend / girlfriend / close friend may be useful to vent your anger and release the pent up energy? Now I'm not trying to get your closed ones into having an additional responsibility as a part time counselor, but as a person you need people whom you trust whole-heartedly and are able to support you no matter what. Choose wisely, and you might find this to be a very very important tip in life.
  2. Reward yourself. Don't go "Confessions of a Shopaholic" crazy! (though I fell for it sometimes) I'm asking you to practice restraint and only reward yourself when you have inched closer to your goals. Rewards in life is something that keeps man going. After all, what is there to life if you don't enjoy it too?
  3. RELAX. There is just so many hours of work you can do in a day. Find your favourite pastime and enjoy it whenever you can. Man can never live on work alone. Family, friends, fun are some of the Fs you need in life. Without them, Fortune comes to naught!
You can be a bookworm and read all the tips in the world, but action always speaks louder than words. Apply them and hope it'll bring a smile on your face.
